The Flamingos are migrating to our area and they just may flock to your lawn!!!
Our youth group is trying to raise funds for our local Middle School Mission Week and our High School Mission Trip in Minnesota and we will be doing so by holding a Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser.
During the month of May, our youth group's Pink Flamingo Flocking Teams will visit members of our congregation's front yard and proceed to fill it with 10 pink flamingos! In order to have the obnoxious pink birds removed within 48 hours, the "victim" must make a donation to the youth group's cause. Once a donation is made, the "victim" gets to choose who in the congregation will be the next recipient f the Flamingo Flock. The youth group then removes the Flamingos and delivers them to the next selected recipient. This cycle will continue until Memorial Day Weekend. Also, there is a $5.00 removal fee per day if a donation is not made within 48 hours because we need to keep the flamingos moving. (They get restless you know).
In a few weeks you will be able to buy "Flamingo Insurance" from a member of our youth group for $20.00 and that will insure that the obnoxious Flamingos will never visit your yard.
